1. 1985 to 2026

  2. Work in progress at Rush Graphics

    1985

Our story begins in 1985 as a small photography and pre-press studio providing laser scanning & color separations for designers & printers in the Northeast.

  3. The team at work

    Curiosity

Since we opened our doors in 1985, we have always been fascinated by the limitless possibilities when you really know the capabilities of the technology you are using. That has been a driving force for us — to know what’s coming down the pike for evolving software and hardware and to invest in the tools that will make our products better.

  4. The Rush Graphics production floor

    35 years on

Over the last 35 years, just about everything having to do with our industry has changed and we’ve made it our business to change with it.

  5. The Rush Graphics photo and video studio, drawn

    Under one roof

Today, we are a full service production studio that caters a comprehensive design, print, photography, and video production service all under one roof - taking your vision from concept to production.

The people behind the work

  • Opened the doors in 1985 as a photography and pre-press studio, and has been first to try every new machine since.

  • Your first call and your last: keeps every project moving from the quote to the day it ships.

  • Runs the floor, the schedules, the machines and the people, so that what was promised is what arrives.

  • Takes a job from the file to the finished piece, and knows which press, paper and finish it needs.

  • Builds the first one by hand, the box, the comp, the sample, so you can hold it before it is made.

  • Runs the sheetfed presses: the colour, the registration, sheet after sheet matching the first.

  • Prints the big things, banners, walls and displays, and makes sure they read from across the room.

  • Cuts, folds, scores and laminates: the last steps that turn a printed sheet into the thing it was meant to be.

  • Assembles the pieces into kits, packs and mailers, counted and ready to go out the door.

  • Gets it where it is going: packed, labelled, shipped and tracked.

  • Turns the brief into artwork: layouts, dielines, comps and the files the presses need.

  • Checks every file before it prints, colour, bleed, fonts and traps, so nothing surprises on the press.

  • Shoots the work, in the studio and on location: the products, the people, and the films that show them off.

  • Tells the studio's story, the posts, the campaigns, the news, and keeps it in front of the people who should see it.
